Our office phone is attended from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, and 7:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturdays.
Our on-site service hours are from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
Saturday jobs are available by prior arrangement only.
Any requests outside standard on-site hours are handled according to our after-hours service policy.
Outside of standard on-site hours, we provide a reliable emergency after-hours service. While calls are not answered immediately, you will be prompted to leave a message with your details and the nature of the issue. This message is received by our on-call emergency electrician, who will respond within approximately 30 minutes.
Whenever possible, our team will offer guidance over the phone to help manage the situation and potentially avoid an after-hours call-out. However, if an on-site visit is necessary, we will discuss the associated charges upfront, provide a service agreement for your approval, and take the minimum payment before dispatch. Our electrician will then be sent immediately as a priority to resolve the situation safely and efficiently.
We understand that emergency situations can be stressful, and our goal is always to support our clients with care and integrity, attending only when absolutely necessary while ensuring safety and compliance.

If your RCD (Residual Current Device) keeps tripping, it’s usually a sign of a fault — either in an appliance, wiring, or the circuit itself. While you can try unplugging all appliances on that circuit and resetting the RCD, if it continues to trip, it’s important not to attempt any further diagnosis or repairs yourself.
RCDs are safety devices designed to protect against electric shock and serious electrical faults. Ongoing tripping should always be investigated by a licenced electrician.
At JAX Power Solutions, we can quickly identify the cause and safely resolve the issue to keep your home or workplace protected. Contact us for professional support.
